Nowcast
Precipitation nowcasting
Two hours is the window where a forecast changes what someone does in the next ten minutes. It is also the window where latency matters more than sophistication.
Minute-by-minute rain and flash-flood risk at neighbourhood scale, from radar, out to two hours.

- Horizon
- 0–120 minutes
- Step
- 1 minute
- Resolution
- 1–2 km

What you get
Minute-resolution rain
Start time, stop time and intensity for a single point, at the resolution a person standing outside actually experiences.
Flash-flood thresholds
Rainfall rate against local soil saturation and catchment response, so the alert fires on risk rather than on millimetres.
Built for latency
A p95 under 150 ms. A nowcast that arrives late is not a nowcast.
